You Hold
Utilizing Insite Legal Hold, users can analyze data for litigation or
investigative purposes, in place. Sophisticated concept search
and filtering tools identify relevant data for early analysis. Users
can then review and apply a hold to only the necessary data.
Collect Only What You Need
In this early stage analysis, relevant data is identified in its
original location without the need to migrate to a central
repository. As a result, culling can be done at the document
source to expedite the process. This culling is performed to
the individual item level (so for example, only specific e-mails
and attachments are returned, not entire Outlook .pst files). As
all relevant metadata and full text are extracted as part of this
process, costly processing charges are avoided.
Be Prepared
Insite Legal Hold can be run ad hoc or on a scheduled basis, as desired.
Those named frequently in litigation and investigations (like the “C” level
executives), can be monitored on a scheduled basis. When a new lawsuit or

conduct a “live” exploration of its data before applying a legal hold to quickly and
efficiently locate potentially relevant data [Early Risk Assessment]. Thereafter,
enterprises can review the potentially relevant data using Insite Legal Hold’s
sophisticated search and sampling technology [Early Case Assessment]. As
relevant data is identified, enterprises can easily apply their hold procedures
and move forward. As data is revised or new data is added, Insite Legal Hold
automatically updates the hold to ensure compliance with hold criteria. Insite
Legal Hold also provides enterprises with a full-view across its multiple holds and
matters for effective case management and risk mitigation. Insite Legal Hold even
provides out-of-the box reporting functionality.
